The helplessness of being born in Hong Kong

Hong Kong used to be a cosmopolitan city where Chinese and Western cultures blended.
After the handover of Hong Kong to China in 1997, Chinese, Japanese and Korean cultures have been imported into Hong Kong, but Hong Kong has gradually lost its cultural exports. This calendar is a combination of various cultural insights since the handover of Hong Kong, showing the following characteristics of Hong Kong: "a land of gold, a life that is hard to live in, a pace that is rapid, and a gradual move towards China".
One of the sentences in July:
"I have studied more than others but earned less than others."
The degree participation rate in Hong Kong has surged from 25.7% in 2008 to 48.2% in 17 years, but the median labour force for university qualifications has dropped from $31,400 (2008) to $29,300 (2018), a drop of more than 7%. Degree depreciation has left graduates worried, while some calendar buyers even wrote: "July is a good month! Let's do it together!
The calendar was sold out in two months after it was launched with three unique combinations of traditional Chinese characters, font design and quotes.
The calendars are embossed and printed with pearlescent white foil, and are presented in a 360gm Taiwanese cotton card with 13 calendars inserted in a wooden frame on the table.
